Kris,
I am not an expert either but if you work with Windows there is a program that comes with it: Picture it.
It is a simple photo programme. It allows you to resize, crop and a few more functions.
Is this a very large photo? If it isn't send it to me as an attachmentto my yahoo address and I'll crop it for you, so that you can see the difference.

picture suggestion

Kris,
I have a suggestion for your Palakkad picture. If you crop the forground, the truck and the rest will be more clearly visible and also be larger. I did not rate your picture yet. Maybe you could delete this one and upload a trimmed version.

thanks for your message!
I use to travel to India almost every year. I have very good friends in Haridwar.
Next year I will visit the Seven Sisters states, that is, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tripura, etc.
India is my favourite country in the world!
Cheers

Kris,
Trissur sounds interesting. (I looked it up in the Lonet Planet, but there is only a short entry). Your link doesn't work. Could you send it again?
I will e-mail you when we are in Kerala. We start in Goa, will be there a few days. Then travel on to Gokarna and Udupi. If anything in between is interesting we stay longer. From Udupi we will travel to north Kerala and stay where we think it is nice. That's why I cannot possibly tell when we are in Kozhikode.
I am glad to hear that your pictures were taken during the monsoon as I remeber India more colourful and brighter.

Kris,
Thanks for posting all the Kerala pictures. I enjpyed them very much. Are the elepants temple elephants or working elephants?
It struck me that your pictures wrere a bit dark. Were they taken in the raint season whenthe skies are dark not not azure blue?

Hi Kris,
I haven't disappeared yet. I got your emails and will stay in touch.
I found two hotels close to the airport:
Hotel Airport International and Hotel Columbus. Do you know them?

Kris,
It's always nice reading reports from countries I don't know too much about and I certianly hope this increases my chances of travelling to India. I'm hoping that 2007 will allow me to see the wonderful place.
What about you any plans?
Misty
