I have not noticed your contributions before, but I was impressed with your photo that you entitled Tindari sandbar. Actually, the formation is what we call a 'spit' and is a perfect example that my students will enjoy.

Thanks, I like that picture too.
I made it with a 300mm lens, from a car.
But I have some pictures of lions I made while I was walking. That was I think the scariest moment in my life. More than a km from camp, no weapons just a guide, and a lion at less than 30 metres growling at me...(Later we saw that there were at LEAST 3 adult females and 3 adult males present around(!) us).
