Amanda, if you ever get the chance to go, I would encourage you to. I love Central America as a whole but Costa Rica was really a special surprise. We did everything from Mt. Biking to rafting to zip lining and horseback riding. Ever day was better than the day before.

new month, new prize! :) Congrats on winning the AoM award again - it was a very good idea to collect your wonderful Hawaii pictures in an album. First I got a bit confused because of the date, guess in Feb' 10 you've got the prize for the Iceland album?

hi, amanda - we live in new york and have a flat in boca raton florida. once i climb on that plane and buckle up, i am - in my mind - in florida. on a recent return trip i had great clear weather both ways and a window seat which i usually don't. snapped images going and coming, lumped them under boca.

don't see much sense in 10 towns each with one picture from an airplane. just coalesced them all in one place, en route to and from. this picture is a small island off the coast of the bronx in new york located in the western end of long island sound.

guess nobody ever said i wasn't confusing.

amazing clarity the days i travelled, no haze nothing.

You are right. I was irritated. It wasn't an easy journey not only because of the heat and the humidity. But I wouldn't like to miss it. And be sure I am gong to travel until I can't do it anymore.

Hi Amanda,

Thanks much for the wonderful comments on the photos. There's an adjacent building nearby where the Singapore cityscape view photo was taken from. William's really great at photography and I used to borrow his every time I write story about Singapore. I'd lived and worked in Singapore the country's really clean and beautiful:))

Are you in England right now? Got 1 press trip in the Central part of the Philippines and might head out after to Quebec by mid March.
