Hi Ralph,
finally I am able to work with my scanner, so I could add photos to my Syria reports.

Ralph,
Thanks for the explanation, you are right they look (a bit) like chocolate, but also like large ant hills.

Hi Ralph,
as you seem to be interested in Kyrgyzstan, have a look at my report ybout Karakol again. I was successful in adding some pictures to it.
So long.

Still in the Philippines?
Posted: 2006-08-01 01:11 PM
Ralph, if you are still there enjoy it... looking forward to more pics... I am envious!
Thanks for "Pension Natividad" (check spelling?) as an alternative in Manila, one really needs a RECOMMENDED place to stay there. I cannot find a web-link for them either but you might add www.ciao.es/Pension_Natividad_Manila__3883 as a referance and their fax number 5223759.
I head out of Manila as soon as I arrive but friends stay at "Swagmans Hotel" for a few days to shop, climatise and sometimes also to find travel partners :-)

Not rated your report
Posted: 2006-06-20 06:51 AM
Hi Ralph
I've been looking at your report on Quito - most interesting. I had a somewhat different experience with guineapig in Peru - it made me ill and as a consequence my heart machine gave me a thorough zapping and did me out of much of the holiday! However the restaurant, part of a trip, was terrible and I think that explains it.
As you say you are going to add photos, I am leaving rating it until then when I will be able to give a higher rating - BUT why not keep it unpublished until you have put all you want? I guess that, like me, you are not obsessed with ratings but when you put in all the work, you may as well wait until people can see it at its best.
Just a friendly suggestion.
Cheers
David

always in Word

Ralph,
Did you write first in MS Word? I always do, so that I have a copy in case things go wrong.
Enjoy your holiday, sounds fascinating.

report problems
Posted: 2006-06-20 03:54 AM
Ralph,
I see that you are having trouble in uploading your report. One thing that always happens is that two section of the text are lost when uploading. If I am not mistaken it is nightlife and hangouts.
Therefore, it is recommended to write report first in Word and then copy and paste.
You need not publish your report if you haven't finished it completely. Simply do not click on: Publish this report.
As long as a report is saved and not published it will show in red in your list of reports.
Good luck with finishing yours and scanning your photos. I will read and rate when that has been done, so let me know.
Marianne
If you just 'click on 'save', it is not yet visible for others.
