Burak,
Thanks for your kind words, you are right my profile pic is a bit small, but Matterhorn is almost full size.
I am still writing about Edirne, the report will come.

Burak,
I liked your Malatya photos even though I did not recognise any. Look forward to seeing more also pictures of food. (I like these, people always look a bit strange when I take pictures of my food in a restaurant)

Relocation
Posted: 2006-11-08 03:15 PM
Hi, Burak--
I've been living on two continents for a few years now, and when I remember to do so, I change my location information to reflect where I am at the time. I will be relocating to the USA permanently next year, though I hope I shall never stop visiting Europe!
Cheers.

Hi Burak
Thank you for stopping by and wishing us all the best.
Alani brings so much new to our family that every day is a new wonder, there's no need for other explorations at the moment. ;-)
Have a great day

I fully agree that politics played an important part, but this has always been the case. These prizes are (often) inspired by favouritsm and therefore valueless. But this doesn't alter the facts that I like his writings.

Burak,
Congratulations, one of your countrymen winning this prestigious prize.
Did you read any of his books?

Merhaba Burak!

Thank you, Burak. I felt a little bit guilty after writing that message, but it was necessary.
Anyway, she has already deleted from her guestbook all advises: Mortimer’s, yours and mine!
Turkish language has many wise sayings, and I have already learnt some of them through your comments in Globo.
Perhaps I will visit again your lovely country this winter, in my way back from Russia to Spain overland. I wanted to go now, but the Russians closed the border with Georgia.
Turkish people always treated me very nicely during all the (many) times that I have been in Turkey, a country where I feel at home.
Regards
Jorge
