I am very much influenced by your interpretation of what the little skimmer insect might be about. It might summareise a lot of what is best in this world and what joy we can experience from living every day to the full.
When i look again at the wave pattern i see possible links to celtic design spirals and interlacing from the middle ages ce.
And that links up with a conversation Marianne had about mixing of Viking and Celtic designs.
While i am digressing it now appears there was a significant presenence of Celts at Urumqui on the silk road. recent grave find has just been published.
The interweaving of civilizations over all the centuries makes the Earth a little smaller and more coherent!!
