It was only 3 years ago that I was in Regina. Thanks for reading about it.

Hi Clive!

CLive,
Thank you for your kind remarks on both my reports on India. The trip was wonderful, as was having two weeks with my daughter! At 21, she is in college and working so time is at a premium.

the optical illusion is probably due to my negligence in choosing an angle too impulsively. there are details at http://www.uoregon.edu/~struct/resources/case_studies/case_studies_simplebeams/pei_louvre/pei_louvre.html

London statues
Posted: 2006-10-08 07:39 AM
Clive,
I enjoyed your statue slide show. We saw some of them last week when in London. I found a statue you did not include: Dick Whittington and his cat in Highgate (I will upload it, once I have sorted out my London photos).
Just a question: What happened to Dickins & Jones in Regent Street?

Great Slide Show!

Clive,
I really enjoyed viewing your slide show today! Great idea to pull all the statues together in one presentation! I have to admit that my two favorites fall on opposite sides of the scale. I am touched by the WWII Memorial to Women soldiers and I am tickled by the elephant with the pyramid on its back.
Thanks!

I enjoyed your slide show. The picture I liked best was the one where the statutue is bending over and using an
old (/) mesuring device.

Clive, Thanks for reading my Budapest report. The statue of the little jester may be a recent addition, I loved it because it is the ideal foregrond to the museums in Buda.
The lace ladies at the fishermen's bastion probably sell their lace for the same reason as the flower ladies: a welcome extra income.

How was Scotland? I meant to be going there in November, but I'm not sure. Seems to me that it will be too cold, well we'll see.
Thank's for checking out my report on Iguassu.

...you can taste the wine better now. Thanks for reading my review... I'm not sure if all the pictures were uploaded when you read it.
