On Houston Bay about halfway to/from Galveston is this small quaint community at the inlet to the smaller Clear Water Bay. It has a great waterfront including a lot and variety of pubs and restaurants like "Saltgrass" (steaks), "Cadillac" (mexican) "The Flying Dutchmann" (incl.oysterbar), "Joe's Crab Shack", Landry Seafood House".
A lot of day and evening entertainment too for the whole family, specially for younger kids, funfair to karaokee...
