Ravinder, thank you for this dose of naturalism... These pictures are not joyful, but they do represent one of the aspects of life on our planet. It is beyond imagination how we, supposedly the cleverest of the species, could mismanaged our world so much! And you know what, scenes like that are not unique to India. There are some very sad places in east London, southern Europe, Latin America and I do not want to say what I saw in certain parts of 'glamorous' cities of the US...
