Prague - Czech Republic, Hlavni Mesto Praha The featured exhibit is "The History of the Jews of Bohemia and Moravia - 10th to 18th Century" and includes a remarkable collection of original artifacts including books, utensils, religious objects such as Torah breastplates, and drawings and pictures. Many date from the 16th C, a period of Jewish prosperity in Prague and the date of construction of this building. Many of the artifacts are drawn from the collection being made for Hitler's proposed "Museum of an Extinct Race". Pictured is the yellow hat required for Jews to wear during a period of Middle Age persecution and discrimination.
