Hidden away in a business district of Eminonu far below tourist radar and inaccessible to tourist busses, this "community house of worship" was built by Sinan, the master architect, in the 1650s. The relatively simple exterior pictured hides the beautiful interior, far bluer then the Blue Mosque. Visitors are few and far between, it can be appreciated in solitude.
