Up to now members wishing to offer love and marriage type services, quite rightly had their postings removed as soon as they were reported.
Today in the individual photo comment screen there is a side bar adverisement displaying portraits of "Asian Girls for Love and Marriage"
Can Google be asked to tailor the ad displays to the site ethos?
kind regards
Hugh O'Rourke

When you open my recent report on Thailand, you get links above it to thaikisses.com and thaigirls.com, both advertising the same thing.
I'm not sure if it can be controlled. My husband had a similar issue on a website he set up for a church diocese basketball program with ads for Hot Singles and was not able to have those screened out. I agree with Hugh and Eire but at least I can choose not to click these links, what is more annoying to me is to go to a "travel report" to find that it is an advert from a "member" who is obviously a rep for a travel company, I always hit the spam button and Andy always responds but it must be even harder todetect these than simple links, that's why we have the spam button I suppose, we are our own policemen. --- I am no longer a stranger in a strange land.

Hello everybody,
this ads are served by google and it is not possible to take control in such a way that would prohibit this. I can exclude certain websites, but there will be hundreds of them as you can imagine. So it is virtually impossible. Google tries to make the best possible match between text and advertiser. I hope they will improve their matching algorithms in the future to prevent this from happening.
Kind regards, Andy

Hi there,
The dating and chatting with girls advertising is back! Sadly. It appears on globo more often these days than ever! Mostly with Russian and Ukrainian girls. They are all very pretty, but I do not think our travel community is about sex travel... ;)
Is there a chance to have the advertisement tailored more to what our website is about?
Kindest regards

Hello everybody,
thank you for reporting this. I could not see them myself, all the ads visible to me a travel related. However a member has sent me a screenshot which clearly shows what you are talking about. The settings inside the Advertiser Account of Google are are already set to block "dating" and "sex related" ads. I have therefore contacted google to investigate further. Those ads should clearly not apear on GLOBO. I hope they will sort it out soon.
Best regards, Andy

Hi again,
I just heared back from Google that this might be an advertiser which does something that is not OK. To get hold of that user we need the click string. Which means when you go over the advertisement in question and you right click with the mouse you get a "copy target location". Can somebody who sees that advertisement please provide that URL? I can then forward it to google so that they can identify the advertiser.
Best regards, Andy

Something strange is happening. When I click the link I pasted I get another advertising from a shoe selling site. Could it be that the Anastasia one is corrupted?
Maybe you can figure that one out with Google or maybe it's just a coincidence?

No it's not. I just checked and when you click my pasted link it gets you to the Zalando site. Very strange Anastasia is hacked by Zalando. Looks like a new Greek tragedy....
