Hi everybody,
I am searching for some moderators. Are there some senior members out there who would like to take over one of the forums I am moderating. There are a couple off them :-)
Cheers,
Andy

Hi GLOBO's
After chatting with Andy I decided to give Andy a hand and agreed to moderate two forums....
The job as moderator is not complicated at all and you don't have to do much more than you did before.... in fact the only thing asked for is keeping the forum clean of advertisement!
As a moderator you have the possibility to edit delete all posts in the forum you moderate, you can lock a topic so that no further reply is possible or you can move the thread to another forum, thats it.
So where are other senior members giving a hand?

Hello Russ,
would you like to take the "work abroad" forums for moderation? That would be great.
Regards,
Andy

Andy,
I will do whatever you ask of me. We all need to contribute to make this an effective tool that all can use. Just let me know what you want and how to do so, then I will begin.

Hi Russ,
I just have assigned moderation status for the "people" section for you. I will also open a topic in the GLOBO intern talk forum so you moderators can communicate among each other.
Cick the bad posts out (obvious advertisement mostly posted by new users, scamers etc), and help to keep the discussion going just in real live.
Good luck with the moderation,
Andy

Hi Andy,
If you need any more help in the forums I'd like to help. Would not it be a good idea to have two moderators on each forum? We are travellers and some of us will be away regularly.

Hi Marianne,
how about the work abroad forums? About the comoderation. that sounds good. How about the forums in travel advice? So you could comoderate with inzaghi.
Christianj. is taking the forums abov in comoderation.

andy

Andy,
Do you mean both travel advice and work abroad forums? It is Okay with me as long as it is a co-moderateship. (if such a word exists).
Our job is to keep the discussion going and delete spam and or adverisements.
If we delete a post do we tell the person who has posted why his post is deleted? Are there any 'moderator rules and regulations'?

Hi Marianne,
travel advice would be in comoderation with inzaghi, work abroad is currently moderated by myself which I would like to have another person moderated. So if you would like to stay with just travel advice this is of course fine.
Let me know which one you would like to moderate and I will assign the moderation right for you.
Regards,
Andy
