From now on all pictures inside galleries can be commented. This is a long wanted feature which makes it easier to get feedback for your pictures from other members. Commenting is as easy as pie: - Click on a thumb of a picture (the small one) - Rate it - Comment it Thats it. Very easy and you will earn 1 GLOBO point per comment. Listed inside your activities folder. Ratings will NOT be displayed within your comment and are not associated in any way. What is not possible so far: - Commenting on pictures you have already rated - Multiple comments on one picture This is more of an technical issue and is on the to do list. A problem though is that a RATERS-comment is only prompted when opening an ICON and not when double-clicking the TITLE of the picture or using the right-mouse-button in new window! A further problem is also that the PHOTOGRAPHERS-comment/description is not shown for the ICON method of rating a picture, only the TITLE click method. Therefore currently one can either have access to the PHOTOGRAPHERS-comment OR do a RATERS-comment, not both unless one goes circles! Everything else will evolve over time. It would certainly be usefull for some and perhaps better to control what is written about ones pictures or be informed first! Perhaps staff can arrange this as an option. Staff, ...you have fixed my problem above very fast! Thank you. This new feature at GLOBO makes it even more special than other websites. I noticed with delight that: 1) one CAN add more than one comment to a picture, usefull for corrections or additional notes. See for example: http://www.globosapiens.net/gloriajames/pictures-water-gardens-29219.html 2) one can go back to pictures already rated months ago and ADD comments thier too! 3) this, the amount of comments and the quality of comments will help staff choose the PoM each month. Is this supposed to be like it? Anyway this gives more room to explain the picture and the possibility to answer the suggestions or comments given by others. Containing links to commented pictures, guest book entry info and maybe some other things, like for example how many members visited the page during the last week.
