I went to Barcelona for holidays, dont need to say a lot about this city because you can find a better description in wiki. What I can say it is my experience in this city.
The most impressive view can be seen from Tibidado, up to this mountain, there is a theme park for kids and a church which can be seen from the rambla de catalunya but the most beautiful park it is Parc Guell, a great site with its huge columns at the Hipostila room (also known as room of 100 columns) and the snake place.
Not afraid to the vertigo, I took the cable car linking the Barceloneta beach to the Montjuic mountain. The first day it was too windy so it was closed but the next day, I was been able to see the city on my feet meanwhile the cable took me slowly to the mountain, from here, I visited the castle and some gardens like the Botanic garden.
Down the mountain, going near to plaza de españa around 20h, I watched the magic show called Magic Fountain, a spectacle of water and light.
The bad point is that someone stole my wallet near la rambla, next days I was more carefully but hopefully I had few money and be able to cancel my credit cards, my passport was safe and some credit cards that I kept somewhere else.
La Pedrera and la Sagrada Familia are both the most impressive buildings, of course there are other Gaudi buildings but both are impacted me a lot for the wonder.
