One day layover on the way to Guatemala on free airmiles tickets on American Airlines. Do not tarry in the city; head to the Cayes, which we did not have time to do! city was full of people from cruise ships.

Favourite spots: |
We enjoyed the colonial architecture of the city and walking along the Harbo(u)r. We stopped by the Supreme court and the municipal court for a little fun (three attorneys think that is fun, at least). We had just missed Law Day, in which the entire judiciary and local bar march through town. Can't imagine doing that in Seattle....

There are some overpriced, but terribly nice old British colonial hotels near the harbor.
