Everybody says that Patagonia is wonderfull, but you really don´t know until you see this beautifull land. Its worst take some days and travel to the end of the land in order to see this beautiful place.

The Calafate is a little City ( I´d said town) in the Patagonia, in Argentina, almost every people arrive by plane since Buenos Aires. The major surpise was when the plane landing because you can see a beautiful and big lake ( Argentina lake) with a lot mountains arround ( the Andes). The place is quiet and in Autumn ( when in north hemisphere is spring over there is Autumn) because there aren´t a lot of tourist. And you can enjoy of the good food and nices hotels. Besides the people is nice too.

| Favourite spots: |

Every single hotel in the Calafate have nices views of the lake and the snowing mountains and you enjoy your brakfast seeing the amaizing place. But the most important is the posibility of visit to glaciers.

| What's really great: |
|
There are three things that you can´t miss: 1) Visit the Perito Moreno glacier. Is a huge rock only of ice with millions of years. 2) Take a ship in Argentina Lake is a wonderfull trip because you can see other glaciers like Upsala ans Spegazzini and take a ride until a onelli´s bay which is absolutelly beautifull. 3) Try to visit a Estancia is a farm and they offer you a nice show with dinner.

There are many hotels and bungalows in Calafate. Viento del Sur and Sehwen are nice and cheap, the last one have a swimming pool and this is a plus, specially when you had walk all day. I bougth the packed in Buenos Aires and was $350 american dollars : Plane (round), transportation, 3 nigths in Sehwen Hotel( three stars, but is new and the owner is really good guy), breakfasts, the trip to Perito Moreno Glacier and one massage. I think was a vergain.

| Hangouts: |

There are only one place that I can recomended is a Restaurant bar, is called La tolderia is in the main street and everyboy nkows this place. But if you arrive at 10 PM , probably nobady will be there. Is really strange but the people arrive to the bar at middle nigth and the best part of the party is since 1 am.

Go to the main street and try anyone, all of them are nice and delicious. And for 10 ammercian dollars you will have a really nice food ( some times with a wine incliuded)
