Spring of 2001 - Munich - Florence - Cortona - Venice -Started in Munich in Business and then took the train through the Brenner Pass in the Alps enroute to Florence. We spent 4 days in Florence and fell in love with it. We stayed at a small pensione just a 10 minute walk from the main Piazza and felt very comfortable walking and enjoying all of Firenze.

What's really great: |
Getting lost - crossing the river into the AltoArno - we will stay here next time. Meet the locals, relax, see the sites during the day and unwinding over some nice vino rosso in the evenings. The must see site for me is the painting the "expulsion of Adam and eve" by massacio at the Brancacci Chapel- fantastic - this coming from a jock that is not really an art addict - to me this is the best art anywhere in florence!
