My Great Grandfather lived in Howth,
he built a little tin Chapel,& a couple of Houses in Hillside Terrace in the 1800s. He was skipper of a 3-masted sailing ship ss Rokeby. His son was coxswain of the life boat station for 30 years

Howth is a wonderful place a peninsula. Howth Hill you get wonderful views across Dublin Bay.
The Harbours are well worth a visit, with various shops along them.

Howth is certainly worth to be written about. maybe you could make this report a bit longer and add things inportant to know when visited. maybe add some photos as well. |
