Khartoum is a true Saharan capital city. Everywhere in the city you will find the sand and dust that is so typically for the desert. The Nile is the only reason that something can live there.

The markets are always fun to stroll around. The Sudanese people are very friendly and really helpfull without having to fear for other reasons...
