This beautiful city can offer a lot of interesting places to visit. A great walk is offered through flowered streets and nice gardens. Take the tramways, see the fortresses, the old quarter and the city markets. Just a romantic city to enjoy , better with company. Is surrounded by the great natural areas of Sintra, Monsanto and Arrabida where you can walk trough the nature all along the Tajo river and have nice view from the viewpoints of the gardens. I liked a lot the museums of Lisboa specially the Belem Cultural Center that have some itinerant exhibitions all the year. Is a big city that mix the history of the fenicians, grecs, etc and the cosmopolitan life style.

What's really great: |
Is really great take a walk trough the city. Yeah you can walk for hours just looking the street life, the Lisboan architecture, use the wonderful tramways and enjoy the quite life of this city. Also the night life and specially at the Barrio Alto area, Docas with 24 Julho Avenue area, where you can find a lot of restaurants, bars and discotheques. Or, if you are lucky, found a quiet local with a singer singing "Fado" and enjoying some cups of Lisboetan wine.

Restaurants: |
S/V Café Rua Capelo, 20/22 (Chiado). It´s OK. But almost everywhere you can find good restaurants to taste the fish and seafood that are the best options there. Roasted Sardines, Codfish and Tunny-fish are really good coocked there. For dessert try with cheeses or sweeties. And obviously the Lisboetan wine!!!
