Munich is a beautiful city with lots of great beers and funny touristic activities such as Hofbräuhaus and mulled wine bicycle tours. Bayern got it's own old traditions which they love to show the tourists, and no the music is not as good as the beer!

My boyfriend and I went for a short weekend trip to the wonderful Munich (München) in Bayern, Germany. It's a beautiful city, and around Marienplatz there are several beer halls and not to far away the famous Hofbräuhaus which is extremely touristic but I can't help loving it! It's a huge bier halle where you're sitting on wooden benches, sharing a table with other tourists. Your 1 litre sejdel of the own brand beer gets served by waitresses in traditional bavarian dresses. There is also an umpa umpa band that are playing traditional bavarian melodies wearing lederhosen to put you in the right mode. It's a great place for a lovely night! But watch out, it's easy to drink this easydrinking beers, but it's hard to walk straight afterwards.
From Marienplatz at Christmas time there were also glühwine bicycles where you could sit on the side with a table in front of you, drinking mulled wine and have a bicycle tour around München. Chauffeur is included.
