This really is a one day thing. The scenery is some of the most beatiful I've ever seen. Muscat was a fort long time ago, to protect from the Portuguese invadors. Its surrounded by magnificant mountains, and lies on the Arabian Gulf.

Just hike up a few mountains near the Corniche, and you'll surely get a beautiful view.

The scenery is just amazing. You'll really lose your breath. Be careful climbing those mountains though....loose gravel isn't fun!

| Accommodations: |
|
There is no heart of the city to stay in. The best deal we found was the Quram Beach Hotel, which was about 55 US Dollars a night for a two room suite, which included three twin beds and a living area as well.

|
There are no clubs!

Nope...no pubs...well there are a few in some hotels, but none worth mentioning.
