My experiences with building a home in Abruzzo. Not an easy experience I must say. I had a bit of assistance from my relatives who live there. The house is finally finished and sleeps six people. The home is located in Valle San Giovanni.

Valle San Giovanni is a small hamlet of approximately 350 people. It is located on the outskirts of Teramo, the capital city of the province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region of Italy. The house can be seen at: http://www.angelfire-.com/film/casale

I think Abruzzo is a much underrated region outside Italy. Mind you, tha has advantages for those who do appreciate it. |

Welcome and thanks for your first report! Teramo seems a pretty nice place to settle down to, hope you can tell us more about it. Don't worry, a bidet is luxury for travelers :-) Tell us more about the area/region and your travels... see my first report - that was difficult! |
