Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan, a little known and tiny Himalayan kingdom nestled between North Eastern India and Tibet. Bhutan is a fascinating place to visit, particulary because its isolation for hundreds of years (there was no TV till a few years ago) has ensured that its culture and people remain very unique. The country is amazingly beautiful, most of it is part of the middle Himalayan ranges, with the few inhabited places being located in valleys.
