I spent these 20 days in Tokyo discovering a wonderful city so different from my European experience so far. It's lively, it's traditional, it's absolutely rejecting traditions, it's opposite stick together in a single place. A must-see for widen city perception, for knowing a different lifestyle, for its beautiful wooden houses, for its innovative attractions, for its people, polite and friendly.

What's really great: |
Getting in touch with locals it'seasy and they're absolutely polite and will try to do whatever in their hands to accomplish your request. Many people speak English, youngsters in particular, against the usual belief that it's quite rare to find English speakers in Japan.

Sights: |
No to be missed: a walk at night along Tokyo streets, the safest in the world just to feel that incredible feeling of being comfortable even if the road if full of drunk men and drop outs.

Accommodations: |
Sakura Hotel - Jimbocho Station: a mice and clean small hotels, ideal for backpackers since it's got some shared (veeeery cheap!) rooms. Single rooms quite small. But there's everything included: television, air conditioned, soap, shared toilets and showers.
Great place, I stood there for 20 days and i really felt at home. Friendly welcome at the reception: receptionist stay up 24/7 so it's easy to come back whenever one wants and ask things you might need even at 5 in the morning. :-)

Restaurants: |
It's necessary to eat in a real Japanese fast-food, Ramen fast-food. Ramen is a traditional and cheap food, ready to eat. A good tasting suop with noodles in it and different sausages at your choices. Good atmosphere in Ramen fast-food, most locals eating, loooow price!
