It has been awhile since I traveled abroad, and my wife and I are planning a bike trip to Ireland and then a sight ssining trip to Scotland. MY roots are from Scotland and I may just try to locate relatives but that seems a little far fetched at the moment. I will take lot sof of pix so stay tuned. We depart in Sept 2009, but there is much more to accomplish prior to our departure.
We have a travel agent and he has worked to get the best flight rates possible. He also got us in touch with a company that provides bike tours, which we really want to do.
I would like to hear from people about their trips to Ireland and Scotland and their must see sights. Our last big trip was to New Zealnad and Australis, and I am pining to go back. Tasmania and Darwin will be our hiking destinations then and hopefully we can include our Aussie friends Bruce and Carolynn as well.
