Hey guys,
I am so sorry that I never wrote again. Its been almost a year since I returned from Canada already. I had an awesome time and even though I had been to Canada so many times before I learned a lot more about the Canadian culture.
-They like coffee mugs they can carry around in the bus. And you can get addicted to flavoured coffee.
-A "wollen cap" is called a tuque.
-Curling isnt as easy as you would think it is, that ice is pretty slippery ;)
-I love maple glazed donuts and Tim Hortens is the best.
-Probably Canada's west coast is the CHEAPEST place for all you can eat-Sushi!

Wow, its less than a month before I leave for Canada. I am really exited and nervous. Yet there are a lot of things to be done: Visa, work permit (well, I got this funny letter which was totally wrinkled-up and which states that I am supposed to show it to an Immigration officer in Canada,...wonder if thats enough ;), apply for the fund from the DAAD, insurance, doctors,...and so on, and so on. Plus I should buy some business cloths (the people who know me, also know that I am not exactly the girly business person in pink.....).
What's kinda funny is that my lil bro is in Toronto right now on a trip with his gf. And just 2 weeks after he returns I will leave. That reminds me of the fact that I WANT to leave on the 6th, yet my professor has to let me go. I also wonder about the WRC (AIESEC) and how it will be. Wonder if I will meet a lot of people, and if I will have a good start or if it will be totally embarassing, as I have NO CLUE what my role call willl be :)
Enough for today, I need to get up in time tomorrow, droping off mom, she is leaving for NYC...would love to join her...my cousin and a friend (Felipe are you there yet ?!) are prolly there....well, one cant have everything ! (Still dreaming about my world trip !!!).
