The Tibetan Dance Centre has moved from the north to the south of the Old Town Lijiang (just along from The Wang Fu hotel) with it's own beautiful purpose built Dance Centre open for everyone to visit and enjoy nightly Tibetan Dancing. Here you can even learn Tibetan Dance.
The Dance Centre now has it's own restaurant and visitors are able to enjoy fantastic authentic food while watching the dance.
It is also possible to eat at any time during the day and the menu is in full English.
If you are adventurous you can try many authentic Tibetan dishes including Yak cheese and meat.
But also there are many many vegetarian selections (the host is vegetarian).
Qin ke jiu is a Tibetan speciality: Barley wine and is very smooth. It's reputation brings people to the bar. Here you can enjoy a drink with many local people.
