information about united-states  St. AugustineUnited States, Florida
Built in 1888 by Henry Flagler (co-founder of Standard Oil) because there were no sufficient hotels in St. Augustine at the time. Guests were expected to stay 3 months (all winter). The windows in the dining hall were made by L.C. Tiffany and the electricity (new concept) by Thomas Edison. It is now Flagler College, a private 4 year liberal arts school.

Wow! I just love the detailed comment, the architecture seems to have a Spanish influence.

Yes, all of St. Augustine has that Spanish influence but funny, it doesn't feel like California. It has it's own identity.
