Starogard Gdanski - Poland Defensive walls high up to 5 meters, with widths of up to 2 meters. At the turn of 1309-1310 on the instructions of the great master of the Teutonic Knights, Teodot with Florence,joined to work on refurbishing the old village Starogard in the fortress-city. River Wierzyca was a natural obstacle, and in other places excavated moat (today Wierzyca Channel).
