I am planning on taking a trip out to the Alps area in February and I was thinking of doing a short 3 to 4 day backpacking trip. I figure that all of the trails in the high Alps will be closed for the season, but if I head north or south a bit, I may be able to find something. Do you have any advice on where to go?
If you have any information on good locations to snowboard or what towns to visit, that would help me out alot too. Thanks.
