If you go to the Færoes at all, it would be close to madness to miss the boat trip to the bird cliffs of Vestmanna [on the largest island, Streymoy] Either the nesting seabirds or the splendid cliff scenery, where the boat passes through arches, round stacks and into caves, would justify the trip - but you get both together. Not cheap but worth saving for.
