Chocoyero Waterfall and the Bird Wall's by eirekay

Ticuantepe - Nicaragua, Masaya Chocoyero Nature Reserve is maintained by the impoverished community that surrounds it. The guides are all volunteers. The Congo hike takes you on a 6km tour of dry tropical forest, the highlight being this small waterfall and the volcanic wall which provides homes for the Pacific Parakeet. Large by parakeet standards, these are actually more like the size of an Amazon Yellow Head Parrot but not as stocky. The parakeets arrive at 4pm. This pic is taken at 3:55.
