Face of the Buddha - Sri Chum Temple's by eirekay

Sukhothai - Thailand, Sukhothai It was interesting to compare the many expressions given to Buddhas. While many had eyes closed (including some standing and walking Buddhas), and an equal number had eyes wide open, like this Buddha. Unique were his long ears - a feature we only saw to this extent a couple of times. I also liked the detail of the knot rising from his head. Seated, he measures nearly 10 meters tall, second only to Ayutthaya's Bronze Buddha in height.
