Yosemite National Park - United States, California The Back Packer's Campground comes complete with large campsites, bear boxes and compost toilets (nice ones). To reach the camp ground takes a 4.7 miles hike up the Mist Trail or 5.4 miles up the John Muir Trail. It is a great stopping point for the hike up Half Dome.
