Once last look at the Tallest Seated Buddha's by eirekay

Ayutthaya - Thailand, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya It is difficult to capture the size of this Buddha figure. He is 3 stories tall, bronze but covered in gold leaf. He dates from the 17th century but was not covered in gold until 1990 as a celebration of the Queens 60th Birthday. Standing before him, he seems to gaze directly at you with a serene countenance.
