The Huge Hand! Sukhothai Historical Park's by eirekay

Sukhothai - Thailand, Sukhothai This hand, quite famous for it's long elegant fingers, belongs to a seated Buddha, nearly 10 meters tall. The hand itself is about 2 meters tall. Buddists seeking merit come and place sheets of gold leaf on the hand as a way of paying tribute. Only the hand itself has gold on it. The Buddha itself sits in one of the few temples, Sri Chum, that has not been fully destroyed. The Buddha, aside from its face, can not be easily seen from a distance without knowing where to look for him.
