North Shore Trail, Point Lobos State Reserve's by el2995

Big Sur - United States, California A view of Bluefish Cove from the North Shore Trail. From this spot, continue to the right (heading east) along the North Shore Trail then head right to follow the Cabin Trail. The trail will lead to the Whalers Cabin and Whaling Station Museums, which overlook Whalers Cove. Near the Whalers Cabin is a nursury ground for harbor seals, which is definitely worth a visit if one in into wildlife. The hike to Whalers Cabin takes roughly 30 minutes from the Piney Woods picnic area and parking lot; take the Pine Ridge Trail and head left along the Lace Lichen Trail, then turn right at the North Shore Trail.
