On the 'Discovery Trail', Pulau Ubin's by el2995

Singapore City - Singapore Adjacent to the Visitor’s Center and Police station is Pulau Ubin’s Discovery Trail, which allows a pleasant stroll amid specimens of some of fruits and vegetables that grow in the region (durians, mangoes, papayas) and some of the spices (chilies, pandan leaves, lemon grass) that feature prominently in the local cuisine, in addition to some of the local wildlife (like the monitor lizard that I saw crawling to the right of the interesting tree photographed) and creepy-crawlies (like the exceedingly small black mites that walked across my open-toed sandals and left a trail of stinging bites across the tops of my feet.)
