New destination

The last time i did receive a confirmation e-mail but that was some time ago. How long should it take for a new destination to be added? Thanks Mags --- Enjoy it while you can! So I have put them asside for a while. Will see how many I can get aproved in the next minutes. Sorry, but there is just to much to take care of at the moment. The original idea of the place suggestion function was, to give the members the ability to submit information on any place they know about. Regardless of availability inside the GLOBO database. If the place is not listed, add it and publish. That idea is in a way now in danger, since there are so many places on the list that aproving them takes to much time. On the other hand we do than just have the place inside the database but without any content. So it is without any use. Please if possible, do only suggest places where you realy intend to publish content on. This is the only situation where this feature does make sense. The latest propositions of me are all national parks in US some of which are very well known and I'm suppose that lots of people would be able to contribute more. For instance I did suggest Arches National Park in Utah wich is really well known worldwide. If you don't like my suggestion I don't have any problems with posting my content under Moab which already is in the database. Suggestions as above should be handled swiftly others like a 100 soul village somewhere in the taiga probably are a bit more difficult to reach and perhaps not things that all people would search. My advise for those who suggest new places always think wether it will be interesting for everybody else to get this destination listed. Proposed yesterday and approved today, congratulations. The system is still working and very well it does!
