Zeche Zollern,
an industrial monument of international rank, since 1983 part of the Westphalian Industrial Museum, was the most modern, most important mine, a model mine. She was an object of prestige for the owner, the Gelsenkirchener Bergwerks AG, the largest Mining Company of the district; therefore nothing was spared to make an architectural jewel. Today it is also used for small markets, weddings or just for drinking a beer in the former stable.
