I had the same feeling that it looks like a painting. Is this due to the photoshop work you did to it? (I'm thinking about, sharpness increase, color balance adjust)

Yes and I find the curve facility in Photoshop allows me to represent the scene as I remember it despite the vagaries of our Irish oceanic skyscapes.

If developed from a photo, it would be interesting to see the original too. This may look like a montage because of the strange shadowing and light area around objects, specially the big tree. A limit seems to be crossed here and the image cannot realy be considered a photograph? Nevertheless very interesting medium and wonderful scene.
