A very long stretch of the Ghanaian cost has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It boasts picturesque villages, exceptionally beautiful beaches, formidable but notorious slave strongholds built by the Portuguese, British, Dutch, French and even Germans. One of the great sites includes a village built on stilts on the waters of a lake. It is one of world's most interesting and remarkable coasts, full of things to do, see and a truly perfect place to relax and meet the locals.
