A delightful lodge on the best stretch of the beach at Pointe Denis, just across the estuary from Libreville. It has 20+ room with various comfort. The little huts right on the beachfront with seaview are XAF100,000, the large suites with super comfortable beds are XAF55,000 and the huts in the second row from the beachfront with big beds with mosquito nets were XAF45,000. The best value anywhere in Gabon! All amenities were provided and if one did not want their room services, it was enough to hold on to the key. Clean towels and luxury bedlinen were amongst the best qualities of this accommodation. The attached restaurant was excellent! All products were fresh, delivered from mainland daily, by one of the owner's boats. French-inspired West African dishes started from XAF4,000, fish skewers were XAF8,000, prawns XAF10,000 and lobster XAF15,000. No English was spoken, but the owner does, so everything can be sorted with no problem whatsoever.
