Empress Cixi instead of modernised navy fleet built this marble boat where she drinks a tea. It doesn't helped her during war with English and French troops.

I like how the grey palette makes it look shadowy. In sunny days it might be a nice place for taking your afternoon tea, though :)

Well, this was my guess. I have a friend living there and I've heard a lot about this problem. But I prefered to blame the gloomy sky on weather
