Leger Museum – Army Museum |
The army museum is housed in the arsenal, which was built at the end of 17th century and is still full of weaponry and displays more recent additions such as military uniforms, battle models and armoured vehicles.
A visit to the museum is like a walk through the history of the Dutch army, from Roman times via the Middle Ages and the 80-year war to Worls Wars I and II. It ends at the UN peace missions.
The museum is very much geared towards children as they will be able to dress up and play knight or soldier.
