*** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** TUGENDHAT VILLA is an example of Functionalist style. It was built in 1929 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, a famous German architect.
It is a definite must for anyone interested in architecture.
The villa is open to the public from Wednesday - Sunday, pre-booked guided tours only. The first at 10 am the last at 5 pm. It's no good turning up at the villa for a tour as only 15 persons are allowed in one tour.
Tours can be booked at the Tourist Office in the Old Town Hall.
