To celebrate my birthday I stayed at Rushton Hall on old English manor and it was perfect. The rooms were great with lots of wood and the staff were very helpful. Recently opened to the general public it has a wonderful main hall which if full of character and it is set on grounds that offers wonderful walks and views. The only downfall is that they didn't have a spa, however one is now being built.
