Hi Kim,

I am curious as I am trying to decide when to go early November this year but don't want to be rained out...what month were you in Langkawi and Malaysia?

Thanks,

Kerrie

I quite agree with Daniserralta, Olympos in Turkey. Actually we stayed in Ciralli which is a slightly quitere place. Once you have had enough sand and sea you there is a 30-minute walk to the chimaera. This is a series of flames coming out of the cracks in the rocks, absolutely fascinating.

The best beaches I have ever seen are the beaches on Sumba (Indonesia) and the next best is Hu'u on Sumbawa (Indonesia)

I was in Langkawi early Feb of this year. Langkawi was beautiful in Feb. My visit to Krabi was in May which was the beginning of the rainy season. No rain at all came our way.

Enjoy

The most beautiful and relaxed beach where I have ever been is Playa Cocoli, close to Livingston, Guatemala.

We got there in a small canoe via a little river. It´s a beautiful view when you enter the sea, so quiet. Then you float along the beach a little longer and arrive at a little restaurant. White sand, caribean people (garifuna) and great food. From there you walk about half an hour longer through the jungle until you reach the waterfalls "siete altares" that flow directly into the caribbean sea. It´s a great view, the water is cold and you can jump from the cliffs into the basins of the waterfalls.

One of the most beautiful places I´ve ever been to...but I probably do have a different taste as I never really liked any beaches in Cancun or Playa del Carmen....too crowded for me!
